Dear U-M Students:
You don't have an 8-5 schedule, and CAPS recognizes that.
CAPS is now offering a new way to support you - CAPS After Hours. Starting immediately, any student can access professional mental health services after our offices are closed (in addition to our extended daytime hours).
CAPS AFTER HOURS
Whether it's a holiday, or 3 a.m., or the weekend, you can call CAPS and be connected immediately to a counselor for support. The services are staffed by Master's level and Doctoral level mental health professionals and are for urgent matters, a personal crisis, or anything that just can't wait until we open the next day.
This new after hours service is available thanks to a generous donation from the Gatof Family Foundation and augments existing CAPS' services, like:
- CAPS Clinical Services
- CAPS Groups and Workshops
- CAPS Crisis Services
- CAPS Stressbusters App
- CAPS Self-Help Website
- CAPS Leaders At Their Best initiative
Please remember to do something to help yourself and to help a friend. It takes courage and strength to ask for help. Let's be true Wolverines - taking care of ourselves and each other.
