Save the Date: 40th Annual Alfred L. Edwards Conference

Added on by SCOR UMich.

The Black Business Student Association (BBSA) encourages you to save the date for the 40th Annual Alfred L. Edwards (ALE) Conference on Friday, February 5th, 2016 – Saturday, February 6th, 2016.

This year’s conference theme, A Legacy of Leadership, celebrates the past, present and future of Ross BBSA excellence and achievement. We are pleased to announce that Michael Eric Dyson, best selling author, scholar, and cultural critic will be our keynote speaker on Friday, February 6th. Through dynamic speakers, relevant panel discussions, an empowering MTalks session, and a phenomenal closing gala, attendees will reflect on their legacies as professional leaders in business and society.

The ALE Conference was named in honor of Dr. Alfred L. Edwards, an esteemed professor at the University of Michigan and a mentor to many underrepresented minority students on campus. Dr. Edwards once said, “We must make sure that the doors that were opened for us, do not become closed for others.” It is in this spirit that we gather as a community for this 40th annual celebration.

Save the date for the 40th annual conference -- a full agenda and registration website will be available in the upcoming weeks. We look forward to seeing you in February!
