The Same Difference Documentary Screening, Dinner and Discussion

The documentary "The Same Difference" examines tensions in the lesbian community over race and gender expression. Situated at the intersections of race, gender and sexuality, the documentary explores the policing of gender roles, biphobia, and other taboo issues within Queer communities of color. It asks why certain women are valued over others and how masculine privilege is pervasive, even among women.
