Tax Bill Call-In to US Senators & Representatives

Location: Rackham Graduate School, Earl Lewis Room
As you may know, the House and Senate are currently engaged in reforming our tax code. These changes affect many of us in a variety of ways, but of note, is the fact that there may be a provision that taxes our tuition waivers. Under one version of the bill, these waivers would count as taxable income. This might drastically change the ways in which many of us afford (and cannot afford) our education. We would like to provide space and food for all of us to engage with our representatives to express how it impacts our education. Join us on Friday.
